Ecological restoration is the development of eco-construction of soil and water conservation.Based on analysis of characteristic of soil erosion,progress,tendency of eco-restoration research,and existing problems,this paper presented the further research area on eco-restoration of soil and water conservation including potential and driving factors of eco-restoration,configurations of different scales eco-restoration,technical measures and standards of eco-restoration,healthy assessment of ecosystem of watershed scale,impact of soil and water conservation on eco-hydrological process,vegetation succession,bio-diversity and agricultural economy.
