Nutrient management is very important to greenhouse cropping systems. Based on the input and accumulation of soil nutrients, status of nutrient management of greenhouse cropping in China was illustrated in this paper, while the problems that irrational nutrient management resulted in, such as soil salt accumulation, proportion of nutrition elements maladjusted, vegetable quality declined and environment polluted etc., were pointed out. In addition, strategies were suggested in order to improve nutrient management of greenhouse cropping systems.
